areas consist of a permanent 318 seat tiered gallery overlooking the
indoor arena, and a 66 x 4 metre covered viewing area to the outdoor
arena that can (comfortably) accommodate 200 people. There are grassed
banks overlooking the outdoor arena, and both arenas could accommodate
temporary grandstand seating (the fire exits and alarm systems within
the indoor arena complex are designed around a seating capacity in
excess of 1000 ).
|
|
With the
addition of extra tiered seating the centre can take large events.
Picture to the right is Monty Roberts demo with over 1000 spectators. All cars were parked on hardstanding. We can take up to 900 with our own seating and still have 20 x 60 dressage arena and flat seating only 3 rows deep
|
|
Other
facilities within the arena complex include reception and office
accommodation; toilet block consisting ladies, gents, and disabled
(there is a shower in the disabled WC); 100 cover cafeteria / restaurant
with highly flexible commercial kitchen (the cafeteria can also be
formatted as a meeting room); there is also a retail unit within the
complex.
We also have large hard standing parking areas, (capacity 80 lorries or 300 cars) permanent stabling for 50 (with room to take unlimited temporary stables) and a large area of grass paddocks. Some of this grass area is seeded with a sport grass mix to give areas for secondary competition arenas, while the rest is more than adequate for trade and parking areas.
