“I grew up as a pony-mad girl in Sussex and joined the Chiddingfold Pony Club. Over the years I represented the branch in all Area disciplines, attended camps and did the Pony Club tests, including A test. I was part of the Junior Regional eventing teams and was longlisted for British Young rider event team.
With eventing continuing to be a passion after leaving school I decided to follow my dream of riding at Badminton and Burghley and spent time training with Lars Sederholm and Yogi Breisner at Waterstock House in Oxfordshire, before setting up my own livery and competition yard in Sussex.
In 2001, my husband Tim and I moved to Bedfordshire and in 2004 realised my dream when I jumped clear round Burghley on a horse I had produced from a four-year-old, and then completed Badminton in 2005 three months after my second daughter Anna was born!
I now run a small livery/competition yard in Little Staughton with Anna now enjoying success in eventing, having been a member of the silver medal British Junior team in 2023.
I am a UKCC Level 3 accredited coach specialising in eventing. With over 25 years being involved in the sport at all levels I have experience in dealing with many types of horse and rider. I enjoy helping all ages and abilities fulfil their potential and hope to send away happy, confident riders. Horses and ponies are wonderful animals and I am passionate about correct training, safety and most of all having fun with them.”
