TERMS OF SERVICE

General rules & conditions of entry and use

  • All prices shown include VAT
  • We require full payment for each clinic on booking
  • No space will be reserved without the appropriate fee being paid
  • A non-refundable administrative booking charge of £2.00 to cover transaction fees will be added to each order at checkout
  • Cancellations made less than 4 weeks (28 days) before the event will not be refunded. However, at our sole discretion if the event is oversubscribed and we can re-allocate the clinic space then a transfer or refund maybe considered
  • All bookings at Keysoe International, once confirmed, are liable to a 50% cancellation fee should they be moved or cancelled. Any facility booking cancelled within 3 months of the show date is liable in full.
  • Keysoe International reserves the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the Competitions as they see fit due to weather conditions etc.
  • Keysoe International will not be held liable for any losses suffered from cancelled or amended bookings.
  • The ability to tie up horses to the outside of boxes is a privilege not a right. This practice WILL BE BANNED if horses continue to be left unattended, or are allowed to dig up the lorry park surface. No horses to be tied to buildings or fencing.
  • Once an entry has been made, withdrawal will entail forfeiture of that fee. Fees will be liable immediately for any telephone/fax or e-mailed entry made after the closing date. Non declaration does not remove the requirement to pay the entry fee due.
  • All unaffiliated events are run under the guidance of affiliated rules-BS BD or BE.
  • Further information through governing bodies: British Dressage, British Showjumping, British Eventing.
  • The decision of the judge is final.
  • Neither Keysoe International, not any of its representative or staff, shall be held liable for any accident, injury or damage or loss whatsoever, howsoever caused to any person animal or property at any time.
  • We have a wide array of food and drink available to purchase on site. Please do not bring your own food or drink onto the main grounds.
  • Please dispose of your litter thoughtfully in bins provided.
  • Please do not muck out into car parks.
  • Please ask organizers before riding on grass. Any lunging is by prior permission only, and is never permitted indoors when that is only working in area.
  • Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, and prohibited around the stable block.
  • All dogs must be kept on leads. Dogs are not permitted on the veranda. If dog owners do not clean up their own dogs mess, this privilege will be removed.
  • All horses and ponies must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk.
  • No competitor / rider shall allow a stallion for which they are responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure competitors, officials or other members of the public are not put at risk of injury.
  • Keysoe International reserves the right to refuse entry to class and show ground.
  • Photographers and video teams may attend competitions and events, however competitors and photographers should be aware that by entering an event they are giving their consent to these images being used in print & online by Keysoe, show sponsors, and in show reports as required.
  • Event photography and event reports are an integral part of the competition entered, and entry will constitute acceptance that this is part of the entry contract. We will pass on start lists to event photographers, who may display name, horse name, date and location of competition on photographs displayed on their website. We will also pass on rider contact information to legitimate media contacts for the purpose of writing competition reports.
  • Children must be under strict adult supervision at all times.
  • All competitors/riders must wear correctly fastened hats to current approved safety standards and be correctly and appropriately dressed at all times when riding.
  • Keysoe International reserves the right to restrict prizes to one for every five entries, in accordance with BSJA Rule 76 (6).
  • Formal objections must be made within 30 minutes of event, accompanied by a deposit of £25, forfeited if the objection is over ruled. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
  • Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by and abide by these Rules.
